6th Ward Alderman - Roseann Cervantes     I believe that people should become involved with their community/neighborhood.    I have lived in East Moline most of my life. I have also lived in Oklahoma, Texas, Louisiana and California. I returned to East Moline because of family. I have 3 adult children and 2 grandchildren. I'm married, but go by my maiden name.  I have been a Pre-school teacher for 8 years and before that worked 15 years with adults with disabilities both mentally and physically.  I attended and graduated from UT the class of 72, I earned my Associate's degree in Early Childhood at Black Hawk College. I am currently enrolled at Western Illinois University in the BOT program. I am the Park Coordinator for Garfield park which is located in my neighborhood. I also volunteer for Viva Quad Cities, East Moline Volunteer Corp and The Firecracker Run.   I have been co-captain for American Cancer Society's Relay for Life for the past 15 years.  Get involved, work together, try and change what you can and come to the table with positives, not negatives.   Push button to send an email
