Health Department Intern Job Description & Application Water Treatment Plant Operator  Job Description  &  Application The City of East Moline is accepting applications for the position of Water Treatment Plant Operator, second shift.  Duties include adjusting pumping to meet flow demand, filtering, mixing chemicals, feeding chemicals, insure proper dosages of chemicals.  Collecting water samples and performing water tests.  Ensure proper operations and maintenance of equipment.  Must have a high school diploma or G.E.D. and possess an Illinois Class "C" Public Water Supply Operator's Certificate or have the ability to obtain within 12 months.  Previous experience and/or course work in water treatment is desired.    Apply at East Moline City Hall Annex, 912 16th Avenue, East Moline IL.  Deadline – May 3, 2013.  EEO/AAP.
