Lt. David Rummery joined the East Moline Police Department in 2010. Lt. Rummery is currently assigned to K9 Argo in the Patrol Division. Lt. Rummery has served in various assignments, including field training officer, crime scene technician, bike patrol, field training officer and was an undercover agent at the Quad Cities Metropolitan Enforcement Group. Lt. Rummery and K9 Argo also serve on the Moline/East Moline Crisis Containment Unit. K9 Argo is a German Shepherd and they have been paired together since 2016. K9 Argo is a full service K9, trained and utilized for narcotic detection, tracking, evidence, location, criminal apprehension and handler protection.
