Captain Jason Kratt joined the East Moline Police Department in February of 2006. Captain Kratt was promoted to Sergeant in 2015. Captain Kratt was promoted to Captain in June of 2022 where he currently serves.

Captain Kratt is a 2001 graduate of Alleman High School in Rock Island, IL and went on to obtain a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice from Saint Ambrose University in 2005.
